Enrolment & Casual Class Terms

By enrolling a student in classes or booking a casual class with Little Rhythm Co, parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Program Structure & Calendar

 

• Lessons run year-round and continue throughout school holidays. 

• There is a 4–6 week break over Christmas and New Year. Classes:

  • Resume in the last week of January

  • Conclude in the third week of December

• Fees are calculated based on active teaching weeks only and do not include the Christmas/New Year break.

• Ongoing enrolments require re-enrolment at the commencement of each new year.

 

2. Enrolments & Casual Bookings

 

• Ongoing enrolment is required to secure a permanent weekly place in a class.

• Casual classes may also be booked subject to availability and do not secure an ongoing place in a class.

• Places are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

• Enrolments and bookings are for the nominated student only and are not transferable.

• Parents/guardians must provide accurate contact and medical information and notify Little Rhythm Co of any changes.

 

3. Fees & Billing

 

3. 1 Ongoing Enrolments

 

• Classes may be billed weekly, fortnightly or monthly, as selected at enrolment.

• The first payment will be automatically debited within 1–2 business days of enrolment. All future payments will then continue automatically in line with the selected billing frequency.

• Fees continue during active teaching weeks unless enrolment is formally withdrawn in accordance with the withdrawal policy.

 

3.2 Casual Classes

 

• Casual class payments are charged immediately at the time of booking.

• Casual bookings are subject to class availability and are not recurring.

 

4. Payments & Invoicing

 

• All invoices and payments are processed securely via Stripe.

• By enrolling or booking a class, parents/guardians authorise Little Rhythm Co to process payments in line with their selected booking type and payment schedule.

• Failed or declined payments may result in suspension or cancellation of enrolment or bookings.

 

5. Parent Portal & Bookings

 

• Little Rhythm Co uses an online Student Portal system to manage:

  • Class bookings and cancellations

  • Invoices and payment history

  • Student information

  • Make-up classes and credits

 

Parents/guardians are responsible for maintaining access to their account and ensuring details remain up to date.

 

6. Trial Discounts

 

• Each student is entitled to receive their first 2 classes at 50% off the regular class price.

• Trial discounts apply to both ongoing enrolments and casual bookings unless otherwise stated.

• Students who have previously enrolled in or attended Little Rhythm Co classes are not eligible for additional trial discounts upon re-enrolment or future bookings.

• Discounted trial classes remain eligible for standard make-up class credits in line with the cancellation policy.

 

7. Attendance, Cancellations & Make-Up Classes

 

We understand that life with babies and young children can be unpredictable. Our policies are designed to remain flexible while ensuring classes can continue to operate smoothly.

 

7.1 Class Cancellations

 

• If you are unable to attend a booked class, cancellation notice must be provided at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled class commencement time to be eligible for a make-up class credit.

• Cancellations must be submitted:

  • Via the Student Portal

  • Or in writing to [hello@littlerhythmco.com.au](mailto:hello@littlerhythmco.com.au)

  • Phone calls, social media messages or verbal notice are not accepted as formal cancellation notice.

 

7.2 Make-Up Credits

 

• Where sufficient notice is provided, families will receive a make-up class credit.

• Make-up credits:

  • Must be used for an additional class and cannot replace your regular ongoing class

  • Are subject to class availability

  • May be booked directly via the Student Portal

• Families enrolled in ongoing classes may alternatively request an account credit against future billing in lieu of a make-up class credit, at the discretion of Little Rhythm Co.

 

7.3 Late Cancellations & No Shows

 

Cancellations made less than 2 hours prior to class commencement, or non-attendance without notice, are not eligible for refunds, credits or make-up classes.

 

8. Refund Policy

 

• Fees are generally non-refundable outside the cancellation terms outlined above.

• Refunds may be considered for exceptional or medical circumstances at the discretion of Little Rhythm Co.

• All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

• Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible.

 

9. Withdrawal from Ongoing Enrolment

 

• Ongoing enrolments may be cancelled at any time with 7 days’ written notice.

• Withdrawal will take effect from the next applicable billing period following the notice period.

• Failure to provide the required notice may result in continued billing during the notice period.

• Casual bookings do not require formal withdrawal as they are single-session bookings only.

 

10. Class Changes & Cancellations by Little Rhythm Co

•  

• Little Rhythm Co reserves the right to change class times, instructors, locations or class structures, or to cancel classes due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances.

• Where a class is cancelled by Little Rhythm Co, an appropriate make-up class or billing credit will be provided.

 

11. Health, Safety & Medical Information

 

• Parents/guardians confirm that the student is medically fit to participate.

• Any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs must be disclosed prior to participation.

 

12. Behaviour & Supervision

 

• Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.

• Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from class without refund.

• Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising children before, during and immediately after classes unless otherwise advised.

 

13. Photography & Media

 

• Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during classes for promotional or training purposes.

• Participation grants permission for use unless written notice is provided to Little Rhythm Co.

 

14. Insurance & Liability

 

• Little Rhythm Co holds $20 million Public Liability Insurance.

• Participation in classes is at the participant’s own risk. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

 

15. Privacy

Personal information is collected solely for enrolment, communication and safety purposes and will not be shared except where required by law.

 

16. Acceptance of Terms

 

• Enrolment or booking a casual class constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

• Little Rhythm Co reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
